
Keep body and limbs warm, or else symptoms like coughing, runny nose, fever might aggravate.
Have frequent small meals, choose food that are warm, nutritious and lightly-flavoured.
Drink plenty of water.
Keep air clean and fresh, eliminate allergens such as dust and pollens.
Stay in a quiet and undisturbed area.
Patients suffering from palpitations and/or chest pain should limit physical activities.
Elderly/children who are suffering from shortness of breath should be maintain a position with unobstructed airway. Back-tapping may be used to help expel phlegm if necessary.
